Kanaki Lamp's DETAILS
The design of the lamp is inspired by the organic forms of Renzo Piano’s Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Center, which I think are representative of his architectural vision.
Indeed, the project includes all the characterizing aspects of the building: the use of wood and the fluidity and brightness of its shapes.
The lamp is composed by three petals characterized by the same shape and curvature but different heights, resembling a wooden hut. Each petal is constituted by 11/13 wooden elements, covered with a light translucent fabric that allows the diffusion of the light.
